Congratulations on your new OAS Air Pro! We are so excited for you to experience the freedom and comfort of your new chair.

To help you get moving as quickly and safely as possible, we’ve put together this simple step-by-step guide to take you from unboxing to your very first drive. 😊

📦 What’s Inside the Box?

Before we begin, let’s make sure you have everything you need. When you open the package, you will find:

• 1 × OAS Air Pro Electric Wheelchair (95% pre-assembled for your convenience!)

• 1 × Lithium Battery

• 1 × Battery Charger Pack

• 1 × Comfortable Seat Cushion

• 1 × User Manual & Toolkit

🛠️ 7 Simple Steps to Set Up Your Air Pro

Putting your chair together is quick and easy. Just follow these steps:

Step 1: Unbox & unfold

Carefully lift the wheelchair out of the box and unfold the frame.

⚠️ CRITICAL SAFETY NOTE: Before you ever sit in or drive your chair, please ensure the folding latch is completely locked and secured.

To lock it properly, it requires a little bit of force:

• Hold the chair firmly with one hand gripping the highest point of the backrest, and your other hand gripping the seat frame.

• Press down firmly and with some force until you hear or feel the folding mechanism securely click and lock into place.

Step 2: Lower the footrest

Locate the footrest at the front of the chair and lower it down into its flat, ready-to-use position.

Step 3: Install the controller

Slide the joystick controller into its mounting bracket on the armrest, tighten it securely, and connect the control cable.

Step 4: Install the anti-tip wheels

Attach the safety anti-tip wheels to the rear of the frame to ensure maximum stability and peace of mind during your rides.

Step 5: Select your mode

Familiarize yourself with how to switch between the two modes using the two red levers located on the motors:

• Electric Mode (Both levers UP): Push both levers upwards to engage the motors for powered driving.

• Manual Push Mode (Both levers DOWN): Push both levers downwards to disengage the motors if you or a loved one prefer to push the chair manually.

Step 6: Install the battery

Slide the lithium battery into the battery compartment underneath the seat until you hear a secure click, then lock it into place.

Step 7: Turn on the power

First, flip the power switch on the battery to the ON ("I" position). Then, press the power button on your joystick controller—and you are ready to roll!

🔌 Quick Charging Essentials

Your battery comes partially charged, but we highly recommend giving it a full charge before your first big outing.

• Two Ways to Charge:

  1. On-Board: Connect the charger directly to the port located under your joystick controller.

  2. Off-Board: Remove the battery from the chair and plug the charger directly into the battery's charging port.

• ⚠️ Important: Whichever way you choose, the battery power switch must stay ON ("I" position) during the entire charging process, or the battery will not charge.

• Connection Check: Always ensure all plugs are fully and firmly inserted before turning on the wall outlet.
