Battery & Charging Guide

This guide explains how to properly charge your OAS Air Pro battery and what to check if the chair is not charging correctly.

A full charge is indicated by the display showing 5 bars (1 red + 2 yellow + 2 green).

⚡ How to Charge the Battery

Please follow these steps to ensure proper charging:

1️⃣ Turn ON the Battery Switch (Important)

Before charging, make sure the battery power switch is turned ON.
Charging may not work correctly if the battery is switched off.

2️⃣ Connect the Charger

• Plug the charger into a working wall outlet
• Then connect the charger to the wheelchair charging port (or battery port, depending on your model)
• Make sure the plug is fully inserted

3️⃣ Turn OFF the Chair During Charging

• The joystick/control panel should be turned OFF
• The battery should remain ON

---

4️⃣ Charging Indicator Light

• 🔴 Red / Orange = Charging
• 🟢 Green = Fully Charged

If the light does not turn on, try a different wall outlet.

⏱ Charging Time

• First full charge: 6–8 hours
• Standard charging: until the indicator turns green

🪑 Quick Setup Checks (if not charging properly)

If charging does not work, please check:

• Battery switch is ON
• Battery is properly seated and locked in place
• Charger is fully connected
• Try a different wall outlet

• Always ensure the battery switch is ON during charging
• Do not charge with loose battery connections
• Make sure the charging plug is fully inserted before assuming there is an issue
