The EA error indicates a possible issue with the right hall line or its connection. This guide will help you determine whether the issue is caused by loose connections, cable damage, motor, or controller failure.
๐ Step 1: Basic Cable Check
Please first check the following:
- Ensure all cables and connections are fully plugged in and secure (not loose)
- Carefully inspect all related cables for any visible damage, bending, or breakage
If any cable is loose, please reseat it before continuing.
๐ Step 2: Motor Cable Swap Test
If everything looks normal, please perform the following test:
- Turn the wheelchair OFF before starting โ ๏ธ
- Locate the two motor cables connecting the rear motors to the controller
- Carefully disconnect both motor cables
- Swap the connections:
- Plug the left motor cable into the right port
- Plug the right motor cable into the left port
- When reconnecting, ensure the black and white arrows are properly aligned
- Press the connectors together firmly until fully secured
๐ Step 3: Power On & Test
After completing the swap:
- Turn the wheelchair back ON
- Test the system again
๐ Step 4: Error Result Diagnosis
Based on the result:
- โ EA error / 10 beeps remains
โ This usually indicates a controller issue - โ ๏ธ Changes to E9 error / 9 beeps
โ This usually indicates a right hall line (motor signal cable) or right motor issue
