This guide explains how to safely charge and correctly use the two-battery system.

✔ The battery power switch must stay ON during charging and normal use

⚡ Before You Start (Important)

Please make sure:

• The battery power switch is turned ON
• The charger is properly connected
• You understand how the battery selector switch (I / II) works

🔋 About the Two-Battery System

The OAS Air Ultra uses two batteries:

• Right battery
• Left battery

To control which battery is being used or charged, the wheelchair has a battery selector switch.

🔁 Battery Selector Switch:

• I = Right battery active
• II = Left battery active
• O = Off

✔ This switch is used for both driving and charging
✔ It determines which battery the system is currently using

🔌 Method 1: Charging the Battery Separately (Battery Removed)

Use this method when the battery is taken out of the wheelchair.

Steps:

• Remove the battery from the wheelchair
• Plug the charger directly into the battery
• Connect the charger to a wall outlet
• Check the LED indicator light

Notes:

• ✔ Battery must be removed from the wheelchair
• ✔ Battery switch must still be ON
• 🔴 Red / Orange = charging
• 🟢 Green = fully charged

🔌 Method 2: Charging Through the Wheelchair (Battery Installed)

Use this method when the battery stays inside the wheelchair.

⚠️ Important Step Order

1️⃣ First, turn the battery power switch ON
2️⃣ Then select the battery selector switch:

• I = Right battery
• II = Left battery

Then:

• Plug the charger into the charging port located under the joystick controller
• Ensure the charger is fully connected
• Keep the battery installed and locked in place
• Keep the battery switch ON during the entire charging process

Notes:

• ✔ Battery stays installed in the wheelchair
• ✔ Selector switch determines which battery is charging
• ✔ Charging will not work properly if switch is OFF
• 🔴 Red / Orange = charging
• 🟢 Green = fully charged

⏱ Charging Time

• First full charge: 6–8 hours
• Charge until the light turns green

🔧 If Charging or Driving Issues Occur

Please check:

• Battery power switch is ON
• Selector switch is correctly set to I or II
• Charger is fully connected
• Try a different wall outlet
• Battery is properly installed (for Method 2)

• Photo/video of charger light
• Battery position and selector switch
• Controller screen when turning on
