OAS wheelchairs use different tire types depending on the model. Some models use solid tires (maintenance-free), while others use pneumatic (air-filled) tires for enhanced shock absorption.
Below is a clear breakdown of each model.
🪑 Air Pro & Air Ultra — Solid Tires (No Inflation Needed)
Both the OAS Air Pro and OAS Air Ultra are equipped with solid tires on all wheels (front and rear).
- No air inflation required
- No pressure monitoring needed
- Puncture-resistant design
- Low maintenance and worry-free use
✔ These tires are designed for everyday use without the need for air pressure adjustments.
🪑 OAS Cruise Pro — Pneumatic Rear Tires
- Wheel type: 12-inch aluminum alloy wheels with PU inflatable rear tires
- Recommended tire pressure: 200–210 kPa (summer) / 220–230 kPa (winter)
Performance Features:
- Designed for everyday road conditions
- Small stones or debris will not normally cause punctures
- Only sharp objects (e.g., nails) may cause air loss
✔ Tires can be refilled easily using a standard air pump via the valve stem.
⚠️ Important Notes
- Only the Cruise Pro requires tire inflation.
- Air Pro and Air Ultra do not require any inflation or pressure checks
- Always check tire condition periodically for safety and performance
🧠 Summary
- Air Pro / Air Ultra → Solid tires (no air, maintenance-free)
- Cruise Pro → Rear pneumatic tires (air pressure required)
- Proper inflation improves comfort and performance
